Reset a password in Engage

Introduction

You can enter your password incorrectly 4 times before Engage locks your account. You can reset your password in Engage or the Staff Portal, but the way you do it is different. Find out how in Reset a password in the Staff Portal. The person resetting the password must have access to the Reset password screen.

Reset a password in Engage

  1. Go to Setup > Security > Reset password.
  2. Find the username you need to reset the password for in the drop-down list.
  3. Select Reset Password twice. A green message appears confirming you have successfully reset your password.
  4. Tell the user their password has been reset. Their password will be the same as their username. When they login they can then create a new password.
