Introduction
You can enter your password incorrectly 4 times before Engage locks your account. You can reset your password in Engage or the Staff Portal, but the way you do it is different. Find out how in Reset a password in Engage The person resetting the password must have access to the Admin > Users screen.
Reset a password in the Staff Portal
- Go to Admin > Users.
- Find the username you need to reset the password for in the list. Alternatively, search for their name.
- Select Reset Password on their row. A green message appears saying Password Reset Successfully. An email is sent to the user containing a temporary password.
- Alternatively, manually enter a password in the password field and select Save. A green message appears saying Password Reset Successfully. An email is sent to the user containing the password you entered.
When the user receives the email they log in to the Staff Portal using the temporary (or manually entered) password and create a new password.
