Introduction

There are screens in Engage Fees where you can check if a charge item has been compiled and will be included on an invoice.

Check if a charge item has been compiled

In the Fees > Compilation > Compile Contributions screen

  1. Validate that all pupils have the Contributions Complete column ticked in the main grid after you run the compilation routine.
  2. If the box is not ticked, you will need to go to the Fees > Allocation > Manage Contact Contributions for that pupil and re-compile.

In the Fees > Compilation > Review Compiled Fees screen

  1. Select the pupil with the charge you want to check.
  2. In the lower pane, check that the charge item appears in the Compiled Contributions pane at the bottom of the screen. The charge may be divided among more than one bill payer.

In the Fees > Compilation > Print Pupil Charges screen

  1. Select the charge you want to check using the Charge Group and Charge Item filters.
  2. Validate that the Report Style is set to ‘Detailed’ and Preview the report.
  3. Validate that the charge is showing against all pupils.
  4. If the charge item shows against the pupil but with a zero value, check that the contributions are complete against that pupil in the Compile Contributions screen.

For more information on working with the Compilation menu see the Engage Fees Billing guide Compilation section.
