Introduction 

It is possible to alter a charge item in the Charge and Discount Structure when you have already allocated the charge to pupils.

Update allocations for revised charges in the charge and discount structure

If you update a charge value in Fees>Setup>Charge and Discount Structure the revised value will show in the allocation screen in the Standard Value field for that charge when you refresh the screen.

Note:

• If you have set an override value against the item, although the Standard Value updates, the override value will be the final allocated value.
• If you change the Description or Invoice Text of the charge item, this does not update the invoice text in the charge and discount structure. You will need to deallocate and reallocate the revised charge for the new wording to appear on the invoice or in the posting history.
