Introduction
You can enter your password incorrectly 4 times before Engage locks your account. Parent Portal users can select the Forgot Password link but if the account is locked they can request an email to unlock it. If they contact the school these are the steps to unlock a user account. The person unlocking the account must have access to the Admin > Users screen.
Unlock a Parent Portal user account
- Go to Admin > Users.
- Change the Account Type to Parent.
- Find the user to unlock from the list. Alternatively, search for their name or change the Account Status field to Locked.
- Select the padlock icon on the row. The account will be unlocked.
- If their password is unknown they select the Forgot Password link on the Log In screen.
