What is the purpose of this course?
To prepare the Portal for use by parents and to train parent users/school staff on the content of the Parent Portal
Who is the course aimed at?
Engage/Portal Administrator
What is the recommended course length?
2 Hours
What are the prerequisites?
Must have access to the Portal Server
User must have access to both Engage and Portal
User must know the password for and have permission to use the Engage Administrator account
User must have permission to use the Pupil screens
User must have permission to use the Contact screens
User must have permission to create a Contact mail-merge
User must know how to create a mail-merge template and run a mail-merge
Important
Please be aware that the course is designed to equip you with the skills to manage this area of the system effectively. It is important that you allow sufficient time and resource to implement the setup after the training has taken place. In many cases this will need to be completed before progressing to another stage of the system.
