Introduction
Direct Debits are allocated automatically against invoices by reference to the rule you set in the Account Structure screen.
Change your Direct Debit allocation rules to pay specified invoices first
- Go to the Fees>Setup>Account Structure screen.
- Select the correct DD Receipt Allocation method from the dropdown in the Collection Parameters panel.
- Save the screen to update your settings.
The two DD Receipt Allocation options that pay specified invoice first are:
- Specified Invoices then Oldest Balance then Unallocated
- Specified Invoices then Unallocated
You must have the Administrator login and password to access this screen. If you do not know who has this, contact Engage Help who will be able to make the changes for you.
