When to Print the Posted Transactions Report

Introduction

Engage Fees produces the Posted Transactions report at the end of the Invoice and Receipt Posting routines. It is the summary of the Nominal Accounts that Engage Fees used and the values that were posted to them.

When to print the Posted Transactions report

The Posted Transactions report is printed by default, but you can select different options from the Fees > Setup > Fees Policies screen. The options are:

  • Always Print (Default)
  • Ask Confirmation before Printing
  • Never Print

We recommend that new users select the Always Print option to confirm the transactions posted. Schools that are not linked to Engage Accounts, or directly linked to another accounting package such as Sage 50, should always produce the posting report as the transactions are not automatically posted to their accounts system. You may need to provide evidence of posting for your auditors. Even if you do not opt to print the report, you can always reprint the report from the Fees > Sales Analysis > Analyse Invoices/Receipts screen.
