Introduction
Engage Fees produces the Bank Paying Slip report as part of the Receipt Posting routine. It is the summary of the amounts and payer details that are being posted to the bank and replicates a bank paying in slip.
Set the option for printing the Bank Paying in Slip report
The options for printing the Bank Paying in Slip report can be set in the Fees > Setup > Fees Policies screen. The options are:
- Always Print (Default)
- Ask Confirmation before Printing
- Never Print
We recommend that if your school process a lot of cheque payments, select the Always Print option because the paying in slip will give you a breakdown of the amount posted to the bank in a posting batch. If your school only uses Direct Debits or rarely receives cheques, the second two options could be selected, since the report will be of less value. Individually posted transactions show individually on the Posted Transactions report, but batched postings do not, which is why you may need the Paying in Slip report. Even if you do not opt to print the report, you can always reprint the report from the Fees > Sales Analysis > Analyse Receipts screen.
For more information on printing options see the Engage Fees Setup guide Fees Policies section.
