Introduction

You can set multiple cross charges against a single pupil, but you should not exceed the charges on the invoice.

Multiple Cross charges limits against a single pupil

You can set as many cross charges as you wish against a pupil in Fees>Allocation>Manage Cross Charges, if there are sufficient charges allocated to the pupil to cover the cross charges.

You should not allocate more than 100% of the charge items as either percentage contributions, fixed value contributions, or a combination of both.

When you produce an invoice where the cross charges exceed the invoice charges, the system will produce a credit note for the bill payer and invoices for the cross charge payer(s).

For more information on working with Cross Charges, see the Engage Fees Billing guide Manage Cross Charges section.
