Enter charges for future runs

Introduction

Normally you allocate charges to pupils in the current run, but it is also possible to prepare in advance for future billing runs. You can allocate charges to pupils to any future run set in your system.

In all the allocation methods available in the Fees > Allocation > Allocate Pupil Charges screen, including the Import Allocation option, you can select the run you want the charge to go into.

Note: The manual allocation screens all default to the current run, so you need to remember to change this if you want to allocate the charge to a future run.

In the import screen you must select the run that you want to allocate the charge to. When you increment the current run to the future run you allocated the charge to, the charge will show correctly against the pupil.

You need to change the Run in the main Allocate Pupil Charges screen if you want to see the future run allocations.
