Introduction
You normally import Exam Fees from the relevant examination board within their base data files. If you are trying to use the Allocate Exam Fees and there is no charge against the paper, you can edit this manually from within the Engage Examinations module.
Set Exam Fee values in the Allocate Exam Fees screen
Before you make any changes, you should validate the correct Base Exam Fee with the examination board, and that the import file is correct.
To manually change the Base Exam Fee:
- Go to Modules>Examinations>View Examination Data.
- Select the required Exam Year, Examination Board, and Exam Series from the filter options, then select View.
- Scroll to the right of the Examination Options pane at the top of the screen to the Base Exam Fee
- Enter the revised value against the exam you wish to update.
- Select the Save Changes icon at the top of the screen which is now enable.
- The examination fee should now have a value to allocate in Fees>Allocation>Allocate Exam Fees.
