Introduction

If you need to show the Bank name, Branch, and cheque number on your receipts, you must enter the details when you enter the receipt. You can add these details to any of the receipting screens, except the Import Bank Receipts screen.

Use Bank, Branch and Details when you enter a receipt

  1. Go to one of the following receipting screens:
  • Fees>Collections>Post Receipts and Refunds
  • Fees>Collections>Quick Receipts
  • Fees>Collections>Receive or Refund Deposits
  1. Enter a receipts Date, Ledger Description, Transaction Reference and select a Source of Payment (optional).
  2. Enter the Bank, Branch and Details to appear on the receipt.
  3. Validate that the Issue Receipt box has a tick.
  4. Process the receipt/quick receipt as normal.
  5. When you issue a receipt, the additional details should appear on your receipt.

Note: If need to show these details and they do not appear on your receipt, please raise a case in Engage Help to add the fields to your receipt template(s).

For more information on working with receipts, please see the Engage Fees Collections guide.
