Introduction

When you post an invoice from charges you allocated, the system updates the Is Posted tick box against each charge that was included on an invoice. This allows you to see which charges you have invoiced, and which ones are still waiting to go on an invoice.

Use the Is Posted tick box in the Allocate Pupil Charges screen

  1. Go to Fees>Allocation>Allocate Pupil Charges.
  2. Select the pupil to review in the main grid.
  3. In the Allocated Charges pane at the bottom of the screen you will find the Is Posted column at the far right of the grid. A tick signifies that the charge has been posted on an invoice.

Note: Please note that you can delete allocated charges with the Is Posted box ticked. This will not remove it from the invoice. Ensure you do not accidently allocate the charge again and invoice it a second time.

If you reverse an invoice (or part of an invoice) within a current run, the system will offer to reinstate the charges. After you reverse the invoice, the system removes the Is Posted tick for reinstated charges so that you can update them and include them on a corrective invoice.

The Fees>Compilation>Print Pupil Charges report allows you to see invoiced and un-invoiced charges.

For more information on allocating charges, please see the Engage Fees Billing guide, allocation section.
